About Me

Hi! Im Jenna!  I own Mint Skin, am the only employee/sole operator, & a NYS licensed esthetician for 15 years now. I love waxing, lash lifts, and skin care; especially corrective skin care. I struggled with my own skin for years in high school and college and honestly still do from time to time. That’s why helping my clients discover the root cause of their skin concerns, educating them on everything about their skin, products, ingredients, all the things, is one of my favorite things. There is never a question too “stupid” to ask me - trust.

When I started my journey as an esthetician, before opening Mint Skin (over 11 years ago), I started in a little room tucked away inside of a hair salon. I built my wax clientele from the ground up (If you know you know. Especially if you were there and learned along the way with me…and somehow still to this day have stuck with me). While beginning my career early on, I became trained and certified to be an educator and trainer for a skin care product line as well as an Italian wax/hair removal line. Being able to step outside of the treatment room and work with other estheticians and professionals teaching product knowledge as well as technique, is so much fun and something I really love.

I started the esthetics program really focused on skin care, acne, corrective skin care and frustrating skin conditions; which I fell in love with (and truly still do) However, waxing became something I quickly learned and understood easily. Making someone in a vulnerable position, feel at ease and relaxed, became somewhat of a ‘super power.’ Although I am for the most part an introvert, waxing has turned me into an extrovert, at least in the treatment room. If you are nervous, I promise you I will yap your ear off til you can’t believe your wax is already over with! Yapping and talking about all things reality tv, true crime, or even hearing your personal life gossip and drama - is my favorite. I am everyones secret keeper, love that for me. And I love an update at your next visit.

I used to offer makeup services for weddings, prom/ball, special events, but after awhile decided that I am about the long game. I would much prefer to be behind the scenes and be apart of your skin care journey, wax journey, lash lifting goals leading up to your big day. That being said, I can refer you to amazing makeup artists, microblading professionals, and spray tan artists in our industry for your big day!

Get to know me;

I am a fiancee to my favorite human and our wedding is November 2026.

I am a DIE HARD Buffalo Bills fan (lets go buffalo)… somehow I managed to fall in love with a Miami Dolphins fan, we make it work, somehow.

i love Sports. All of them. I played soccer since I was 9 years old; travel, all of high school, a little after. I love Football (obviously, #gobills), college football, college basketball (somehow I am really good at march madness brackets), baseball… I still have yet to fall in love with curling though (go olympic sports).

I love to cook, I cannot for the life of me bake.

I love dogs, cats, basically all animals (terrified of birds though) more than (most) humans,

I am one of those people who loves to run around barefoot whenever I have the chance.

I am a reality TV junkie (cringier the better) - im an all things bravo girl, love true crime, documentaries, podcasts.

Definition of a 90’s baby, I love everything 90’s and 2000’s. Backstreet Boys forever, not even a question.

I am awkward, clumsy by nature, and I will always have a bruise on me somewhere.

I bought my parents a barkless dog, she is my sissy and my soul dog. Her name is Tessa and she is an African Basenji.

I am horrible at math, catch me counting with my fingers - no shame in my game.

As much as I love to yap, if you are looking for a silent or relaxed session, I appreciate those just as much - never feel bad asking, this is your time and its all about you, and I love that for you.
